Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds" is an interesting movie. Not a great movie by any means, but I could say I enjoyed sitting through all near three hours of it.
For one, there is a LOT of exposition in this movie, and a lot of said exposition and settup takes so long that you wonder whether or not German people ever shut the fuck up. Especially the movies main antagonist Hans Lander, who just talks and talks and talks. The amount of exposition and buildup lead to climaxes that are over in the blink of an eye. I'm wondering if that was what Tarantino was going for, "We'll lull the audience half to sleep with people talking and then have everyone shooting each other!"
I won't go into a whole story plot analysis because that should have been done when the movie came out and was fresh.
I'll just leave it said that...Good movie, not enough of the titular Basterds doing their basturdy business.
And they kill Hitler in the end. In a movie theater that's burning down.
